La Mola... a green hotel
The conference centre and hotel has stated its commitment to a care for the protection and conservation of the environment. To this end it has set up a number of measures to press this aim into motion.
Among the initiatives are:
- The introduction of solar panels. Currently 20 per cent of the hotel’s energy is provided by the sun! This figure is set to rise to 50 per cent in the coming years.
- The use of energy saving light bulbs.
- The separation of recyclable materials from waste.
- The use of an efficient cooling system in the reception area to limit the over-use of energy.
