About La Mola
La Mola opened in August 2008 and was Principal Hayley’s first hotel to open in Spain and the first to open outside the United Kingdom. The new hotel is ideal for conferences and events and is located near the Catalonia region’s fourth city of Terrassa which is around 30 minutes’ drive north-west of national giant Barcelona. La Mola is set in the Catalonian countryside and has a particular focus on renewable energy resources.
As well as some stylish new additions to the venue there is also a 17th century traditional farmhouse which covers 1,650 square metres and is called Mas Bonvilar. It brings together an interesting blend of both old and new in this state-of-the-art countryside venue.
La Mola Location and Nearby Attractions
The hotel is well-placed between the 45-hole Real Club de Golf El Prat golf course and the 14,000 hectare Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac Nature Park. Other local attractions include: the churches of Sant Pere, Vallparadis Park, Masia Freixa and the Casa Alegre de Sagrera. Of course, a trip to Barcelona is certainly not out of the question, nor is a visit to Catalonia’s impressive array of beaches.

Bedrooms and Conferencing at La Mola
La Mola contains a total of 186 guest rooms, 22 of which are luxurious suites. Guests are able to hook up onto the hotel’s wireless internet which complements various other amenities in the rooms. In addition, there are 26 meeting and conference rooms which are available for all sorts of occasions and are able to be laid out in theatre, classroom, boardroom, dinner dance, cabaret, banquet and u-shape formats. The largest possible capacity is 250 in the theatre layout.
Dining and Leisure at La Mola
When it comes to meal times guests are able to make the most of the venue’s restaurant and two cafes, while to relax, there are a number of different leisure options. The health and leisure centre features a spa with no fewer than five pools, a sauna, Turkish baths, hydrotherapy treatments and beauty treatments.
